A dear friend of mine loaned me a book this summer, and I finally got around to looking at it. It has taken up all my reading time, and I have been fascinated with it.
It is "Inside the Victorian Home: A Portrait of Domestic Life in Victorian England" by Judith Flanders.
However, if you have any interest in how people lived, it is a must read. There is a lot of information on the whys and hows of the Victorian life.
